  9. Here is a recipe for chewy brownies, they are great!

  11.         Peanut Butter Chewy Brownies
  12.         
  13. 1/2 cup peanut butter
  14. 1/3 cup butter
  15. 1 cup granulated sugar
  16. 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  17. 2 eggs
  18. 1 cup all purpose flour
  19. 1 tsp. salt
  20. 6 oz. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  21. 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  22.  
  23. Blend peanut butter and butter until smooth. Gradually
  24. add sugars; beat until fluffy and smooth. Add eggs, one at
  25. a time, beating after each.  Add sifted flour and salt and
  26. mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla.  Spread in
  27. buttered 9" square pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes,
  28. or till nicely browned in center (darker brown around edges).
  29. Cool in pan on cooling rack.  Cut into squares.
